What an agent can and can't do in your blog
Agents draft. Only you publish. The restriction is not a beta limit and not a setting.
The rule
Agents draft. Only you publish. The restriction is not a beta limit and not a setting.
Enforced in two places
- The Roami API rejects agent and key requests to publish or schedule (HTTP 403: "Agents can draft and edit. Only you can publish.").
- The MCP connection applies its own matching check. A leaked agent key can only draft.
Read the publish gate and why AI agents should not publish.
Scope
Agents work inside your project only. Always name the project in your prompt. Preview before bulk edits — dry-run first, then approve.
Access you control
| Control | Where |
|---|---|
| Disconnect a connector | In your AI app (e.g. Claude: Customize → Connectors → Remove) |
| Revoke a key | In Roami: Developers → API keys |
| Turn tools off per conversation | In your AI app |
Sign-in
OAuth sign-in is the default; tokens come from the sign-in flow rather than a pasted long-lived secret. Developers can create a self-serve MCP key on the developers page.
Your data
Account, content, and Search Console data are described in the privacy policy. Roami does not train its own foundation models on your blog content. Agents you connect process data under their providers' terms.
