Timeline

30 August: affiliate and commerce catalog

Affiliate links became records with ids. Commerce blocks (gear reviews, booking picks) reference them, and the call to action goes through /go/{id} rather than a merchant URL in the text. Why: change a destination once, search for every post using a partner, and keep disclosure consistent.

6 September: the publish gate

Requests from agents and keys cannot publish. The API and MCP respond 403 Agents can draft and edit. Only you can publish. Read Why AI Agents Should Not Publish.

13 September: Gemini
